Kevin Driscoll is a graduate student in Comparative Media Studies at MIT focusing on questions of identity and authorship as seen in hip-hop and youth culture online. Kevin is a teacher in the Teen New Media program at the ICA in Boston and formerly taught computer science and mathematics at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School in Cambridge. In addition, he is a hip-hop DJ and intimate collaborator with Internet-based artist Claire Chanel (Jay-Z Construction Set, RIAA-Mix, Spamthology, R. Kelly's Closet.)

Challenge: create a band with a predetermined lifetime of four weeks. Write, rehearse, and record an album. Press 100 CDs, each with unique handmade wooden packaging. Tour for ten days, including "guerilla" outdoor performances.
